VSCC Prescott actually happened! In spite of ‘will it, won’t it’ until very late in the day and an even later release of tickets to the general public, one of our favourite events went ahead. Saturday was unfortunately marred by wet weather – the traditional English summer! – but Sunday was better, and improved throughout the day.

Unsurprisingly, attendance was down, especially on the Saturday, but Sunday’s numbers proved just the right balance; enough people to provide the atmosphere, but no overcrowding. Aficionados were just glad to be back, enjoying the sport and the company. Even without our traditional marquee and hospitality, it was good to chat and welcome new Member, Dave Kempton, and introduce him to a few other Members.
