The Aston Hill 100 Anniversary event showcased a number of Talbots, both recreating the run on the hill and in the TOC display. With several cars from the appropriate period when Talbots were at the forefront of the then popular sport of hillclimbing on public roads before they were cancelled in 1925, our cars made a fine impression.
Among those attending were David Jones with his 1914 Sporting Model, Ian Polson, Simon Scott with his 1910 4AB, Des and Marj Burnett in their lovely 1914 25/50, Martin Bryant who brought his Simmins Special and Ian Potts, while three 25/50s were entered by Jonathan Bradshaw, Robert Frankcom and Robert Harrison.
