The Home of Pre-War London Talbots

Tour of the Dordogne 4th Jul 2022

The Dordogne. This magnificent river flows from its source at Puy de Sancy, the highest point of the Massif Central, to the Bay of Biscay near Bordeaux. Our adventure takes us from sea to source, from vineyards to volcanoes, along roads ideal for our cars. On our journey we may encounter hazards in the form of St Emilion vineyards, spectacular gorges and mountains where the views are not to be missed, and volcanoes, described as ‘dormant’ rather than ‘extinct’, even though the last volcanic activity was 11,000 years ago!

This 8 day tour explores the region visiting a variety of attractive venues such as St Emilion, and staying at excellent hotels.

Now fully booked.
