CELEBRATING THE 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TALBOT VICTORY IN THE 1934 ALPINE TRIAL 9th Jul 2024

We invite you to join us on this celebration adventure, marking the 90th Anniversary of the BGH cars' success in the 1934 International Alpine Trial. The original event, held over six days and 1970 miles, ran from Nice to Munich along the spine of the Alps and visiting six countries along the way. Our route in July 2024 is slightly less challenging, but will include several of the famous Alpine Passes successfully conquered by the BGH cars in 1934.

Our Anniversary Adventure starts with a champagne   reception in Champagne country, from where   we head through the Black Forest and south through Switzerland for a three-night stay in Livigno, Italy. Whilst there we are within easy reach of the mighty Stelvio, a must for any self-respecting Talbot.

From Livigno we   head west to Meiringen, Switzerland, following much of the 1934 route, for a three-night stay. The Bernina, Maloja, Splugen, San Bernardino, Lukmanier,  Oberalp  and Susten Passes are all options on our route. Meiringen, like Livigno, is a fabulous base to explore several Alpine routes and passes at our leisure.

Included in this tour:  The following are included in this celebration:

   •   Eight nights half board hotel accommodation

   •    Wine and soft drinks served with evening meals

   •   Rally pack, including

o Souvenir Rally Plate - a replica of the original 1934 plate

o Route Book, with maps, route instructions and notes for each day

o End of tour celebration dinner with Finishers' Awards and other

trophies as souvenirs of the adventure
