Pace Products will be hosting the latest in our popular Technical Training days in Haverhill on 3 November. The event is suitable for those new to Talbot ownership or just keen to learn more about what happens under the bonnet. It will focus on the technical aspects that make Talbots different from other pre-war cars.
During the course of the day you will be able to attend a number of workstations – where experts will have parts on hand to explain the workings of the fuel system, Delco twin point ignition, 12/24V charging and starting, dynamotor and cut out, non-compensated servo brakes, self-accelerating gearbox and transmission etc. It is a hands-on day and you will be encouraged to try adjustment yourself and understand maintenance requirements. In addition, Gareth Burnett, ace Talbot race preparer and pedaller, will give a talk on the exciting things he is developing in new engine componentry.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm with a modest charge for refreshments. Places are strictly limited. If you want to know more, or register your interest, contact Martin Bryant on 01636 812901 or firstname.lastname@example.org
